newcomer again

I was sober for quite a while back in 2009, almost a year. I chased the booze again for the last year and a few months...starting slowly at first...like I knew what I was doing. I knew what I was doing alright, jumping right back into it's grip. I've been sober for 6 days again, for the 5th time in my life. I came back to SR for support, it's helped me a bunch in the past.

Glad you're back.
It took me many false starts before I finaly got sober. You've got the time behind you, and that'll never go away.

Hey buddy, you are in the right spot. I am 10 days sober today. Weird how it can creep back up on ya.
January class is all but gone but there is a great group in July if you are interested........welcome back my friend!!!!

Good luck to ya, brother. My first day of sobriety I couldn't wait to just stop feeling ******. Then I was hoping for a week. Now I'm on week two and looking forward to a month.
