I've always believed in the "take what you want and leave the rest approach". Face it, in life you'll find a lot of wisdom in many different places, so why put all of your eggs in one basket? Even if you choose to embrace one program it's important that you remain open minded, once you close your mind you stop learning.

Holy Moly! Thanks everybody y'all made my evening.

Fenris well said, but I just want to know how you knew I was standing on my head reciting old Beatles' lyrics to keep sober too? Is my web cam on? :lmao

Ranger! You said a mouthful, and so right. We have an obligation to leave this resource better than we found it by passing it along without using fear.

Yep Boleo we have one here like that too.

Raindancer wonderful that you are so close to one month!

Murray I'll have to look for that video. That is an interesting premise.

Thanks for the kind words, really.

Square One: I really like and concur with what you said about remaining open minded. Alcoholism is a complex affliction and little is gained by approaching it with a closed mind and becoming dogmatic or hostile to others with differing beliefs. Sobriety should bring tolerance and understanding.
