3,287 days - 9 yrs. sober

I wanted to let the newcomer know there IS hope.

There IS a path for you!

I was hopeless. For decades.

I changed. So can YOU!

If you are struggling, that is my simple message today.

Find a path that works.

A specfiic program of recovery that requires you to be accountable.

That's what I did.

It may be a path you are resisting......but please know, you do not have to suffer anymore!

I friend of mine in recovery who has taught me a great deal sent me this today:

Make sure you do something nice for somebody else today. Trying to get back on track on your own is next to impossible since you’re the one who got you off-track. We all need outside help…

For me & my life, this is SO true!

Thank you Ryan! Yes, it really struck a chord with me too.

Doing nice things for others (esp when I get no credit) is a way of life that provides me with more inner peace. And God knows I need more inner peace (a quieter mind, lol)

Helping others removes the focus from me & my issues.

Plus, the principle that my mind got me here, so I need outside help to change is a great 1!
