Cutting the grass / barbecue
I'm dealing with the same triggers. But then I just remind myself that I drank daily rain or shine, sick or not, or whatever I was doing. How can I claim things as triggers when I drank every day regardless of circumstances? I don't even know why I have triggees when I drank regardless. Hell, watching TV is a trigger, being home is a trigger. Lol
But I hear ya. That one nice cold beer with a bbq is a nice thought. But I never could have one cold beer and enjoy it. There would be 12 to follow. And come to think of it, I'm not sure I ever enjoyed a beer. It always had a purpose.

The further you are away from your last drink, the easy it becomes!!! I found this to be sooo true....the thoughs and associations, are replaced by new healthy ones!!! it's a great feeling! the bondage alcohol had on me was something I didn't realize until I became sober and in recovery...it's the little things that matter....each step you take will make you stronger everyday!! all the best!!!
and keep on enjoying that lemonade!!!
