Our night ended sipping a Starbuck's Cafe Mocha with whipped cream and cinnamon by a nice cool water fountain downtown... and I feel pretty good.

Great job on your awareness when approaching a trigger! That's key, knowing that temptation is approaching. And treating it with caution, respect and diligence. So many times people say "I don't know what happened, we always do this, and it just sorta happened again." They are victims of their own inertia, their own inability to take control and responsibility of their own actions, each moment. STOPPING the momentum of our drinking habits from carrying us forward is key to conquering our addictions.
