I didn't go to work last week because of my binge drinking. I'm going to take steps to stay sober and hope this is for life. I call in sick and say I was throwing up. I would like to know what to do about work when I see my boss tomorrow. I really need this job and it also keeps me sober because I'm busy most of the day. How should I act and say when I talk to my boss. Beside this I never had an issue when working there and my work is above par and hope just this on issue will be the first and last.

By tomorrow I should be at 80% well. Right now I'm only about 50 to 60% well.

Did I read it right that you missed the whole week (not just a day or two?). If so, that's pretty serious..... I expect your boss would want some indication you had been to the doctor.

You do know that if you keep drinking, things aren't going to get any better, right?

Artsoul I can understand. Well I hope everything goes okay and yes I want to stop drinking for good. I don't like how I can when I drink. I just to care about anything.
