5,184,000 seconds sober today!
To translate that, that's 2 months sober today! But it feels more accomplished if I can say I have 5 million plus sober seconds :P
To be honest with ya, this last month has flown by so quick I almost didn't realize today was the day!
So, speech time??? Naaaaahhhh, no need to bore you all with a speech lol. I feel it would bit pointless for me to say "Yeah so these last 2 months were such and such", because a lot of you already know what it's like in early sobriety.
But I will say one thing for the people who are just getting sober. If you want to be sober bad enough, you will be sober. If someone offered you 1,000,000 bucks to stay sober for 2 months, I bet you would stay sober for those 2 months! (Some of you are saying, oh hell yeah id do it for 1 mil! Think of all the alcohol/drugs I could by with that lol - addict mind). But guess what? There is a million bucks to be had at 2 months. You will feel like it! I can't begin to express how good it feels being rid of alcohol from my life. Your life will change people! Believe me when I say this, it will change for the better! Your eyes will open, and you will finally feel human again. It can be very overwhelming at first, but that's what life is people! Full of fantastic feelings that so many of us have covered up from so many years from self pollution. Its just mind blowing!

Stay strong people, and know that there is a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow!

Thank you Ryan! Very inspiring! And I love the title. A friend of ours always does that for dollars, spells it out in pennies.
And what a great way to look at it. That is truly something I will keep in mind. I would love to feel like a million bucks!

For a second there I thought you were having second thoughts! Wait a second, on second thought, I second that seconds speech. I am big on seconds too since I quit! (And now have to lose the weight)
