Cheers to a sober Saturday!

Hi Folks, day 3 for me, I'd like to say I woke up feeling fantastic today, but the reality is I had a crappy sleep interrupted by night sweats and a mild headache. I really didn't anticipate any detox symptoms, it's not a bad thing though as it erases any doubt as to whether or not I needed to quit. Anyways, way better than the alternative of waking up hungover and shamefull. Stay strong everyone, it could turn out to be a great day after all!

Hey, congrats on 3 days!

You said you didn't anticipate withdrawal or detox. Do you have a family doctor that you could see or call just in case it gets any worse?

Congrats on a sober weekend morning. Instead of being hung over I lifted weights and spent 1/2 hour on the treadmill.

Today is day 5 for me..Last night was the first night I didn't wake up with sweats. I still
can't sleep too good...But like you said..Waking up without the guilt and remorse is such
a good feeling!! Congratulations on day 3!!

Cogratulations to you both! 3 and 5 days are awesome!
Soon, the withdrawal will end, but go to the ER if things get worse.

I'm proud of you both!

Best to you.

Hope you feel a little better now Elphaba

Mikes advice is good tho - do see a doctor is you're feeling poorly or concerned in any way about how you're feeling
