Need Some Guidance!
If he cannot walk without holding onto walls, and his speech is slurred, he is in trouble. He needs medical attention. Yes, he might recover from this incident safely at home with time for it to get out of his system, but there will continue to be incidents until he gets treatment. This is the perfect opportunity to get him seen by a doctor. Be absolutely truthful about his behaviors with the medical staff.
Call 911 or take him to the ER yourself. If he won't get in the car with you, CALL 911. Next time you might come home to a corpse.
Please, I am not being a fear monger or overreacting. I wish I had paid more attention to my mother's drugged behaviors way back when. My dad went away for a business meeting and found her dead on the bedroom floor from Rx pills. Please, for his sake and yours, call 911.

I know a qualified EMT or doctor would be more skilled to make that call. An overdose of Klonopin and who knows what else can be fatal.
Please be careful during this emergency situation.
