You are not alone. These unexpected and crazy emotional responses are something! Hard to explain. We have a rat terrier dog that turned 17 in April. We got her at 8 weeks so I can totally relate to the pet thing. Glad you cat is doing better.
Hope you are doing better now too. Keep coming back here and finding other means of support as you obviously are doing. No need for anyone to go through these challenging times alone!

Don't be too hard on yourself for having a bad day and getting emotional. I'm glad you came here though to talk it out.

Hi Alchy

Personally I see nothing wrong with having a good cry. I do understand that being at work makes it a little more awkward but please don't bottle it in. It is important to release it so it doesn't manifest into something else.

You are doing so well! Make sure you give yourself lots of credit for getting through this and remember "this too shall pass".
