They told me, in rehab, the way to tell if you are an alcoholic:

It doesn't matter if you drink every day, or only on weekends, or holidays...it is WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU, EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU DO drink....I get hammered drunk.

And that, is the answer.

If you get hammered every time you do drink, and black out and/or passout....drum roll please....you are an alcoholic.

Guilty as charged.

When my drinking turned me into a woman I detested...and depression was daily....and still I drank....
that's when I considered myself an alcoholic....:yup:

I've found my way back to sanity and a fantastic lifestyle via AA
