7 Days Cold Turkey

OK, day 7 cold turkey, I made it through a holiday weekend and my first week as of today.

All I can say is that I'm still on course, next goal is the end of this month. Feeling good, no withdrawals besides the lack of sleep the first couple of days.

7 days is when you really start to feel like you have achieved something. It's GREAT! Well done, keep pushin' on!

You are doing it the hard way, good for you. I went six months that way 3 times, hope you can do even better.

Keep it up!

I went cold turkey, too. I now have 17 months sober. It can be done, but don't be afraid to seek out a recovery program.
I think I'm going to start attending AA as an adjunct to my recovery.

Good going, keep strong and keep in mind the miserable days and days after drinking.

Best to you.
