happy happy birthday opivotal!!! 1 year!!!
June 1, 2011 is 1 year clean and sober for my dear friend opivotal.
She has been an inspiration to me and hopefully an inspiration to those who are just starting their journey.
In a relatively short period of time she has become such an important part of this site both as a chairperson to the friday night meeting and as a friend in chat.
Everyone i know walks away with more from optivotal as she gives so much unconditional love and compassion.
I am grateful to have her as a friend.

Congratulations Optival! You have always been positive during my early sobriety roller coaster ride.

To my dear sista! Congrats, Op. I am so happy for you. This has been an amazing journey so far, and I am so blessed to have had you as a friend! You are an inspiration to so many, and have helped me in so many ways.

South...Thank you so much for the beautiful Post. I'm so touched and grateful for your friendship and kindness. You are truly a blessing to me. 
I remember, like it was yesterday, when I could barely get through a day without drinking. I felt so alone and hopeless. I found SR and began reading post after post of people "just like me". I used this site every single day to give me strength. I still do. I learned so much and gained the courage and confidence to live my life without alcohol.
I've met so many wonderful people and formed lasting friendships. I had guidance from SR members who had some sober time. A very special friend and chat monitor Endzy. Members who were starting out just like me. Each and everyone of you were a blessing to me.
I Thank the mods's, the administration and every member of SR for helping me get to where I am today. Special hugs to my "sistas" who have taken the journey with me. 1 Year!!!!!!!!!!
If I can give back an ounce of kindness, advice,or help that was given to me I am honored to do so.
