I need to say thank you to all of you in the Newcomer Forum. Thanks to spending time on this site I have made it through Friday night. The kids are sleeping and I am heading to bed with a few magazines and some water. I am really glad I found all of you. I hope you will stick by me through this journey.

Yep. We white knucklers appreciate SR of a Friday. I get on here and type till I'm sleepy, let Phil find something stupid I don't want to watch on the DVR, then I lay my head in his lap and sleep till midnight. He gets to control the remote and I am a big sleeper, so it works.

Congratulations on your first day/night. I too made it through my first night (my cocktail hour begins at 5). Went to bed early despite teenage drama and prom rule problems, I would have loved to have stayed up with teen whose school may decided to decline a visitor pass for prom date, but I knew I would end up using it as an excuse to postpone quit date. Tons of water on my night stand. Wish I could have slept in later than 6:30am though.

Well done! me too! My first Friday sober - usually around 4pm vivacious vee sits on my shoulder and talks to me how it's Friday and I should chill...wine usually..tonight I am too ...sober - couldnt go to meeting but me and kids watched dvd and goin to bed shortly..Wakin up on a Sunday with no hangover or furry mouth will be a huge feelin...Bring It On!! Good luck my friend -

Congratulations . It is my first friday as well. Or actually it is late saturday in my country. So tomorow it will be sunday and my first weekend sober yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey.
