New here.
I'm not sure if I'm ready to stop drinking. But, I know I should. Drinking has caused me so much regret and pain. It's gotten me into a lot of trouble. If I don't stop, it will probably be the death of me; or at least land me in prison. So I suppose joining this forum I am looking for help. Anyway, I'm happy to be here... and appreciate this site.

I really not one for the advice part of all this because I am 39 and trying to be sober for the first time.
What I can tell you is you found a very nice place, and the people on here are very caring and open. So share what makes you feel comfortable and let the rest flow in to place by reading and posting.
I myself am on day 9 and I am havin a tough time today, I want to have that little bit of pleasure that makes me forget ,, but I know tomorrow I want to slam my head in the wall if i give in .
So I dont know my friend lets just keep our faces out looking for the sun to hit it

You're not sure if you're ready but you know you should? Sounds like you should try to me. When its time you will know. Hopefully, it's before you get into serious trouble and really do land your butt in jail. No time like the present.
