Day 31 rehab - Kelly One class down, 1 to go. We talked about shyness, and drinking to overcome shyness in social situations...not good, of course. Off home at 3:30, for the long weekend, back Monday afternoon. AA meetings every night. I wish you all well. I finish rehab on Tuesday morning. Kelly |
Hi Kelly--Enjoy your weekend! I've been enjoying reading your posts. |
Im sure you are getting anxious to go home and that is natural. As we know all too well, there'a no place like home. Right?:react I just kidden:c008: Remember that this rehab experience can carry you along way in ur recovery if all that you learned is applied to you everyday life. Also, what you've learned thus so far isnt all there is to learn. Recovery is an ongoing journey learning to live life happy and honest in all ur affairs. One leg of ur journey is about to end as you embark on new experiences at home, work and life. Just cause ur leaving there doesnt mean you have to leave here, SR. SR has been a part of my recovery program for awhile now and has helped me pass on my own ESH with others still suffering. It has been a plus in my own recovery in helping me stay sober and grounded a day at a time. I know what I need to do to stay sober and using all the tools and knowledge passed on to me I continue to use them everyday. If staying sober is that important to you like it is to me then hold onto them tight and treasure them always. We'll be here for you every step of the way, even at home, work, trips and ur phone. Enjoy ur recovery journey and trip home. I'm keeping my eyes :glasseson you're progress....lol |
Enjoy your long weekend at home, Kelly! |
