Day 28 rehab for Kelly
Finishing off Week 4 today.
Not sure if it will be 35 days (5 weeks) or what - sometimes they ask you to stay longer.
I've gained 4 pounds - not used to so much free food!
3 classes today.
Have a good day,
Kelly

Good morning Kelly..!
28 days of useful knowledge about your addiction
that you didnt have before. Whether you go home
now or not, you'll still have that knowledge to apply
to verything in ur life from now on.
If you stay longer, then that an extra plus to educate
yourself further so will you can pass on the knowldge
to the newcomers that will follow behind you.
When we stop one addiction we usually replace it with
something else that could be may not be healthy or good
for us. Things like food for example. We begin to eat more
than we should. Which in this case will add on pounds. As
with anything, too much of anything is not good for us. All
in moderation. Balance.
If you gain too much weight then that's added problems to
ur health. Blood pressure, high cholestrol, heaviness on ur
heart and so on.
Eat foods that will give you strength and energy. Fruits, veggies,
lean meats.....Too much sugar, carbs....well they pack on lbs.
which will need to be exercised off.
And exercise is great....walking, stretching.
I see lots of older gentlemen walking in the neighborhood for
whatever reason is motivating to me.
Keep up the good work Kelly as you continue to go thru
wonderful postive healthy changes in ur recovery life.
