Good Morning SR!
Good Morning SR!
Day 2 Round 4 -- I think.
Someone should collect all the day two morning posts and write an inspirational book about what it will feel like when your body is healing. The lightness. I describe it as sweetness. I feel sweet. I don't know a better way to put it. My mind will be better tomorrow and the next day, but I'm happy and smiling and so very thankful for SR and all of its loving attendants.
But to be realilstic. It is Friday. The thirteenth no less. I have a huge meeting to run this afternoon for which I have no agenda. Crap. I will now knuckle down and I will create a nice, meaningful meeting.
After the meeting I will crash--hard. And I will be tempted, really, really tempted, to drink. I have only madeit through one Friday since finding SR.
So after the meeting I will either go to a nearby restaurant and order something wonderful--or go shopping. I'll buy yarn or fabric I don't need, or books about Virginia Woolf (I'm building my library). Then I will go groom my horse (who has only seen me briefly for three weeks. He's so excited when I come pay his board or fill his grain bags. I need to get him out and hug him). Maybe I'll ride. I hope so. Then I will go to the Friday night barrel racing practice and watch the girls who have had their lives together lately and hope I can make it there next week. Then home to work on the quilt.
I don't have time to drink! Right?
Love y'all.
Happy lucky Friday SR.

It's Saturday here (2.30am) and Friday passed without a hitch for me.
Sounds like you're going to have a good day, don't forget to stop at a nice cafe and get a nice cappuccino (or whichever hot drink you prefer).

So far so good. The meeting was pretty good and I'm very glad it's over. My usual response to that is to go drink wine and feel good about having achieved it. But obviously I can't do that. So, I think I'll play with the idea of going to a meeting. I'll look it up and see what happens.
I will check in later, but the object of the game is to get to Saturday sober. Quite a hurdle.

I think your horse would love the new attention it's gonna get! What a wonderful thing, to have that beautiful, majestic animal to ride whenever you want. I really, really miss riding. Nothing quite like it Looks like you have so much planned, it's going to have to roll over the whole weekend! Good, no? I'll be thinking of you, and hoping the days ahead are full and satisfying.
