This seems like a tough decision Im sure. Be honest with yourself. How serious are you about your sobriety? Im only a few months into this and there is NO WAY I could participate in a weekend like that without relapsing. Alcoholics...we have totally different wiring.

Very tough situation for sure but I think you made a wonderful decision not to go.
I hate disappointing people as well but it won't be worth it for you to end up disappointing yourself. As someone else mentioned, if these are your good friends, they should be understanding and happy for you. Stay strong
