Day 16 rehab > Secrets
Homework for tomorrow is to write out 5 Secrets about ourselves.
First secret for me = the various hiding places in the house for my alcohol.
Second secret = "Yes, Mom and Dad I went to Mass...but I went to a friend's house" (when I was a teenager).

Neat exercise. Hope you find it rewarding and instructional, K.
Since I had about 5 hiding places, My first attempt would be to take credit for one secret per hiding place. Terrible, I know.

i did this exercise when i was in rehab too...its a good one. though "my various hiding places for alcohol" and "i went to a friends house instead of mass" sound like a bit of a cop out for deepest darkest secrets convo...haha. just kidding.
Not being completely honest in ALL my affairs
did keep me sober, but not happy. I learned
that you can be honest except when to do so
would hurt or harm others.
I didnt want to hurt another and thus kept a secret
for many years. My HP knew of my intentions and
because I didnt want to hurt another I held onto
it until my HP wanted me to reveal it.
It was only then that the key finally unlock the door
and I recieved the ultimate gift of FREEDOM and Happiness.
Today I live a life of HONESTY in all my affairs with no
baggage or crosses weighing heavy on my shoulders.
