Depressed...

Ugh this sobriety thing can be depressing, feel like I lost my best friend (friend=bottle of Chardonnay). I am pushing myself to just let this ride... I need someone to kick me in the youknowwhat and make me read the big book. I have it, not really reading it, I dusted it, does that count?
I need motivation

Maybe just reading a chapter to get started would be the motivation. I am looking into getting the book myself.

I think most of us go through a period of grief...it's important not to lose your way and wallow though.

I found the Big Book a good read - it's not difficult to follow at all

Give it a go

Don't start at the beginning, start with some of the stories in the back. Or read the chapter on How it Works.

I went through a period of grief when I quit. Giving up my best friend was very hard. It was the worst break up I've ever had lol.
