Had a bad afternoon but didn't binge!!!

I had a bad afternoon but didn't binge on food or alcohol. Since I stop drinking alcohol I would use food but I didn't do it this time. April 18 I file my taxes with turbotax but find out that it was rejected. It's something that I didn't not think it would happen. I was really **** at the time and call up turbotax and they told me that I needed a PIN but I didn't file in 2009. Turbotax caller support which took an hour to find the phone number it's not on the site. That I have a 5 day grace period. I decided to wait until today to get everything fix. Look over it and everything. I found out that I don't have a grace period if it fail in e-file. Got really upset about it and was going to start binge on food like pizza and hot dogs. Binge as in a few slices which would be a lot for me because I already hit my calorie intake for today. 2200 calories a day. I don't drink alcohol if I'm nervous just when I get bored in after 30 days of being sober.

I had to mail my tax paper. Going to ask for a refund from turbotax. Only using it for the efiling. HATE THE IRS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for your tax problems but I'm glad you got through the situation without going back to old behaviours.

Each time I faced something sober my skills set increased - well done!

Those situations can be tough since we are so use to drinking to relieve the stress, good job in not picking up.

Good job. Taxes suck. Of all the things that would make a person binge, that would be at the top of the list. So congratulations. You showed yourself you are in control, not the beast within. After the stress of your tax experience, everything is easy!

You are doing well Action. Like Dee said, for me also each time I faced a new "challenge" it made me realise that I can get through it sober. Better in fact because my head would be clear and I would not react with alcohol induced anger.

Nice work mate
