Just checking in...
Hey everybody, just checking in on SR...
I've not been on so much lately, so just wanted to let you know that I'm OK and working hard on recovering from my mental illness/health stuff...
The future is bright and I have experienced some restbite over the last couple of days, which feels so, so good. I am always just grateful when I feel hope again and not all consumed by my mind and specific mental health stuff and can feel symptoms start to ease and perspective and rationality come back to me...
Anyway, just wanted to check in as the recovery tools that I learned on SR, and practice in my life certainly help me in relation to my mental health. Alcoholism really isn't an issue and that in itself is testament to what I learned, gained and achieved in my recovery, much from SR.

I was thinking about you Neo... wondering how you were doing. SO, thanks for checking in. I hope you find peace.
Take very good care of yourself-- mental illness can take a true toll on a person. I have struggled for years with it. Good days and bad days, but without alcohol it makes it so much more manageable and A LOT more good days without it. Glad to hear you are not drinking Neo.

Hang in there NEO - I'm starting to look deeper into myself, too, and it's scary!! I just know that we're making progress with each day and each step we take.
You're already a great person - so keep that in mind! And don't push yourself too hard either. We can't all be saints in a day!

Neo...your posts have been inspiring to me and I was wondering the other day if you were doing okay so it's good to hear from you. I've given up the alcohol but my mental state is still at day 1 so I have alot of work to do also. But as you said, our future is bright.

Been thinking of you, Neo! You are missed when you're not around, but it's great you're taking care of business. Your best days are yet to come, I'm sure of that. You won't give up until you get it right.
