I just wanted to stop by and say hello. I'm new (renewed..lol) to AA and new to this forum. I'm very grateful to be here and to be sober today! I'm currently working on step two, it seems I'm having a bit of a control issue and faith issue. Instead of one day at a time, it's one breath at a time...Thanks.

I too am new (or returning...) I have been attempting to give up alocohol for a ling time now. I have an issue with binge drinking and am finally really ready to STOP hurting and embarrassing myself. I want a better life and I am scared because I have been here before and I just seem to fail over and over. I am looking for an AA women's only group near Downingtown, PA. Does anyone know of any?
Love and prayers to everyone out there. We are not alone. Just reading and being on this site gives me hope....

I too am new and I too have tried giving up before.

I think that just acknowledging that we have a problem (especially binge drinkers who can fool themselves because they are not drinking every day) is a huge step in the right direction.
