It just that I am unable to go to any meetings for over 3 years now.I started the steps my first year of sobriety I got to step 3 started on the 4 but had to movd. Now I been sobers for almost four years now but I want to do my steps and have some type of support that's why I looked into this website.

good that you are looking to move forward,
going it alone is dangerous,
as our minds tend to go in the direction that suits us.
if you cant get to meetings,
there is online sponsorship, phone sponsorship, and email sponsorship.
the one given, honesty, and trust
do hope you can get to face to face meetings,
find a good sponsor,
as that is a most wonderful relationship to have

Hi, not an AA person myself, but there is plenty of AA wisdom here on these boards.
I did want to welcome you to SR. It is a great place for support, wisdom and helping each other.
We do have a forum specifically for alcoholism and 12-step recovery Alcoholism-12 Step Support - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information you may find it helpful to search and post there. Take care.

I think it's great that you're reaching out for some feedback.
While the directions for the steps are in the Big Book of AA, I believe it's hard to do without a sponsor or teacher who's had an experience with the work. I can't say it's impossible, but I don't know many people who've done the work without a sponsor. A lot of questions come up-- and certain directions, particularly around the 4th step, require some examples, context, etc.
Are you physically unable to go to meetings?
