I am entering Homewood Health Centre here near Toronto in 1-2 weeks...I will be there 35 days (7 weeks)...they let us out on weekends, and there is a liquor store across the street (how ironic). Thank God my wife has my debit and credit cards, so I can't buy anything.

Hopefully, while you are there you will be learning things so that you wouldn't want to go inside the liquor store anyway. That is the whole point of going to the Center.

Congrats on making that decision. If you really commit yourself to the treatment and live what they say, it should help you a lot. 35 days seems like a very reasonable amount of time too, though it varies for each person. As for the liquor store, you'll be driving by liquor stores for the rest of your life, so get over it! lol

There will come a point in your recovery when you won't even notice liquor stores.
