Am I the only one?

Hi. Although I am going to see my doctor today, I wanted to know if anyone else experienced terrible stomach pain in the beginning of their sobriety. I would appreciate any feedback.

Yes, mine is not functioning properly. My wonderful optometrist saw little spots in the back of my eyes the Chinese have a word for, can't think of it.

I am heading off right now to Shepherd Hill in Newark, Ohio. I have everything set up for me to stay and get the treatment I need for my alcoholism.

Wish me well as I do everyone on this site.

Thanks for all the great encouragement and ideas to get and keep the old farmer sober.

I am sick of being sick.

God Bless you All.

And God bless both of you in your respective recoveries.

Today is a good day.

a lot of people (myself included) had lower GI troubles with cramping for a few days....it depends on what you are eating too...or not eating....

tell your doctor and keep to a lighter diet until you feel better...easy to digest foods.

No stomach pain here either. Convulsions and auditory hallucinations seem to be my bag.

But whatever, you are going to the doctor, be honest and get a proper diagnosis. None of us are able to say whether this is due to withdrawal or due to some other problem.

Please do let us know how you get on and keep posting. Best of luck and god bless.
