New to this site - hi all!
It's nice to be here. I found the site by accident, after Googling "Addiction to Obsession." And I found the only people in the world who would understand such a strange affliction - you guys!
I have lived a very complicated 42 years so far, and am currently in a good place. I have a beautiful 4-year-old daughter, and a steady, non-alcoholic, non-addict husband. Yes, folks, I married an "earth person," and he, although very nice about it, has no idea what this recovery stuff is all about!
So, I am reaching out to you, to my community of people in recovery, for recovery has been the most blessed event in my life. What about my daughter? Yes, she has been an amazing and blessed event, but she would not have been possible without my recovery. Enough said.
Anyways it is nice to meet you all. I look forward to reading your stories and sharing parts of mine. I hope to be a friend to some of you along the way.
