Newbie

I was sober for 3 years but recently relapsed. I'm here because you all helped me so much the first time. I'm going to try to check in once a day, at least and just do my best. I need to stay sober this time. It's not an option. It's not something I can just choose not to do because it doesn't suit me in some way. I want to keep my children, my sanity, my boyfriend and their respect. I cam so close to loosing all of that.

Welcome back! You must have learned a lot in that three years (and maybe even during your relapse?). Sounds like you have a lot of great reasons to quit—glad you're here!

Hi Surrender - Glad you're getting sober again - I had about the same amount of sobriety and relapsed, too. Got sober again for another 3-4 years and relapsed again. So yeah, I hear you......

Things can and will be good again.......hang in there! I appreciate sobriety even more now and this forum is my daily maintenance program. Good to have you back!:ghug3
