Talking Energy and love for life!

Hi, I'm still here - now 19 days into recovery, and going to AA three times a week. I know some people would say that isn't enough, but for me, at this moment it is. I finally got myself a copy of the Big Book last night, having already bought 'Living Sober' and the book of daily reflections and am loving it!
Today was weird. I woke up feeling a little groggy (5 year old has sleep issues ) but after a while, I just felt so full of energy - I also have been cigarette free for 7 weeks, it seems like the energy burst just came all at once! It was wonderful - I went swimming and looked in the gym mirror afterwards at this clear skinned, white teethed, happy, yes HAPPY person! I feel renewed.

Just wanted to share...

I'm rather tired now - all that swimming and house cleaning but I know I'll go to sleep 'properly' and wake up tomorrow being grateful for another 24 hours. Thanks for all your lovely comments.

Congratulations on your sober time and being cig-free too! WOW - I'm so impressed!

Glad things are going so well. Lots of us have insomnia and low energy for a while, so it will probably get even better.......... great post!
