for me it is having an AA sponser and telling them what is going on with my life and if some of my friends drink or not. So I have someone else looking on my life to help me not drink. Sounds like someone getting in my business, but that is the deal I made to stop drinking.

Chris, I think we have to be careful in early recovery to NOT find ourselves in situations where we can so easily give in. I'm glad you are back and working on letting go of the guilt. Good for you!

Hey Chris, well done for jumping straight back in! A slip up can happen to anyone, but agree with other posters that you need to learn from it & make a plan for it not happening again. Personally, I am getting a lot from prayer, meditation & keeping a journal of the ups & downs of sobriety so far.

I know how you feel mate. I relapsed on Saturday after several months of complete abstinence. Absolutely hate myself for that moment of weakness and now I have to start at the beginning again.

Started reading Beyond the Influence last night on my iPad, but fell asleep at 8 pm, slept til 6. New day ahead....good morning to everyone and I hope we all stick to THE plan.
