I've always said what we lose in excitement from not drinking at night, we gain in peacefulness the next morning. When I was drinking my "go time" was always around 7 or 8 pm. Now, I find myself unwinding around that time and asleep by 11pm. I typically wake up the next day around 7am and feel fantastic. Not so when I was drinking. Going to bed before 2am was tough and morning, my god the mornings, I would have to peel myself out of bed.
Misery. Just misery... not today! I'm taking my son to breakfast first thing tomorrow and can't wait! Have a good night everyone!

Actually, I love waking early when I don't have to...LOL. Like watching the sun come up with a cup of hot coffee and sit on my deck for a bit. Right now, the thought of waking up yet again with a hangover male me know I am on the right track. Just can't give up another day to that.

I'd usually get started around 5 or 6 pm and go till around 12 to 2 am depending on what night it was, Saturday nights were always later because around here I'd buy "Sunday beer", then usually drink that too then need to go out Sunday to a restaurant or pub to get my fix.
Three Saturday's ago I was drunk,
It's been 20 days, I've had 2 sober Saturday nights so far, although tonight I had to fight cravings badly but I made it, bring on sober Sunday!
