Well I'll be doggone, Carl has 6 months sober
I posted this in the Class of Sept. thread, but wanted to create a new thread. Not so I could say, "Hey, look at me," but to give my appreciation to this forum greater visibility.
I couldn't have gotten this far without SR and the fine folks on it. I won't mention any names, for fear that I leave one off, but if you post regularly, you know who you are. Thank you Mods and Community Greeters for your constant presence on the forum, welcoming the newcomers and supporting us. And to the many, many gals and guys who take the time to post to the forums. It takes time to craft your thoughtful and knowledgeable threads and replies...I know. Thanks and keep it up. They are helping more than you realize.
And for the reader of this at one day, or that first week or month, know this: There is life after drinking; there really is.
