Failed after 9 days - violence, theft - thats my life!

Yo.

So I failed last night. Had a great night, until the "drink more" switch went on.

Ended up in a Casino, blew my money, stole someone elses, got caught on camera, head butted an over-zealous doorman, think I broke his nose, the fact they didn't call the police makes me think they're probably connected to gangsters.

Worst is I live with my parents, which I'm worried for, and my address is on the Casino file.

Off to utilise my contacts the city to buy a *bang bang* before the backlash gets any more.

What's worse is I'm nothing like this when sober.

oh my! Why make matters even worse by doing more illegal stuff? Maybe try to find some legal help instead??

Kjell 03-04-2011 10:15 AM

Rickie-

I don't know exactly what a "bang bang" is, but...c'mon man. Take some accountability for your alcoholism and quit being so selfish. Are you really going to make matters worse on your parents?

Pause. Stop.

Go to an AA meeting instead. Work on the real problem which is you.

It is stupid and selfish. I agree and really appreciate the input. :(

I've never stole anything In my life, yet I decided to do it in a Casino where there's cameras everywhere, how ridiculous. What is worrying is the anger I get when drunk (sure y'all can relate?)

This is a monumental failure and I have no idea what to do. Go in and apologise? The only thing that didn't get me beat down apart from my size was the fact I promptly left. At a real loose end here. What a total utter fool.

Ahh... I remember when I had my first beer too.

I know from experience that going to get that will be a sure and definite way to either get killed or locked away for a very long time.
Also in my experience, If "gangsters" are really G's and ballin like that. You are chump change. Not worth jeopardizing their own for. At least the ones I rolled with are like that.
You might catch a good azz whoopin. But nothing to be go getting a burner for.
But then again, I have no idea what type of people your dealing with. They can also be unpredictable.
They would be very stupid to risk themselves over something that petty.
Living with your parents should be a good ennough reason to stop. At least dont do it to where it will come back on them. That was one of my biggest geeks when I was high at home. I would sit here for hours swearing someone was going to break in or rush the house and hurt my gram before I could get to her.
Tell me that isnt guilt eating away at me.
Get some help. Not the metal kind either.

I ended up doing all sorts of stuff I would have never thought I'd do (lots of stuff like you describe).

You deserve sobriety. Go get it~

Hey thanks for the message. It's good that you can relate. This scenario seems silly to those who can't relate.

From my experience, as I once worked in a nightclub, most doorman firms are connected to organised crime. I can't see him letting this drop. I wouldn't, would you?

I'm thinking of going to live with Grandad for a bit.

Then with that, hopefully their thinking is there is a time and place for everything. One of those things where when they see you they see you. So just stay away from there and hopefully your good.

Yeah I'm happy with that scenario. I def deserve a kicking and can live with that. Being the blatant wreck-head I was last night, I imagine they think I'll be back.

Cheers Aysha, really appreciate it.
