Day 7, Euphoric!

On day 7 and while I've been eating like crazy and pretty sleepy, I have this unbelievable feeling of being at peace. It's so calming. Really enjoying it

What's even crazier is that fact that it's been NUTS at work and SHOULD be causing me unbelievable stress. It's not at all. I'm very relaxed and calm! Loving it!

Congrats Azreal! I ate a lot the first week too, but that was still better than when I would get wasted and eat tons of junk food looking for that next endorphin fix.

Congrats on a week sober! I remember those feelings of inner calm, too - I was so glad to see the anxiety go and didn't even realize how much of it was due to drinking. Glad you're feeling so positive!!

Eating and tiredness - had both of those too. You're right on track!!!

Congrats, Azreal! I'm on day 11 and feeling very much like you. I noticed that my appetite has increased and sleepy also. Not sure how long this will last but I'm hoping not too long since I want to lose weight from not drinking and not gain weight from eating!!!

Keep plugging along!

i thought about that trade off. No empty calories from booze, but probably replaced with the calories from extra eating. DOH! Ah well. I'll take that swap any day!
