I'm glad you're here so often, but please try to share more often. You have a great story to tell, and I'm sure it could be inspirational to many of the Newcomers. Help others accomplish that which you have been able to!

I really liked your post. Isn't it funny how when we're drinking, it seems like we think we can be happy if only we can have "more," or "enough." Booze, money, recognition...we always seem to think we'll attain the happiness we're after if we can just get more of the things we want. But when we stop drinking, we're able to realize that happiness doesn't come at all from those things. We can be the happiest people on Earth, even without 2 nickels to rub together.

Again, great post and great job over the last year.

Thank you all for your kind words and congrats. Several have asked about my advice and "secrets" to share with others. Honestly the best advice I have is to spend time here at SR. It made all the difference for me.
