Good morning everyone
Hello my name is Aaron I am 29 years old and I am from the UK. Ever first I started drinking I have never had a normal relationship with alcohol. I always used to be the one who drank too much end end up making a fool of myself, of course I could never remember what I had done as I was too drunk so would dread the text messages from friends telling me what an idiot I had been.
Eventually I got tired of going out and making an idiot of myself so started drinking at home by myself which is where the nightmare really began.
Anyway I could write a book on my alcohol problems so I will leave it at that for the minute. Fast forward to now I have currently been sober for 5 months which is the longest stint I have ever managed. I currently feel a million times better than those dark days under the influence of the demon poision, I just thought I would join here to stay strong and maybe help anyone else who is struggling if I can.

Welcome Aaron, and thanks for joining us! I think it's great that you've been able to stay off the booze for 5 months. It really is amazing how great life can be when we come out of the darkness, isn't it?
