meeting question so, I left today, I'm at my fathers. couldn't wait just had to get out I would really like to go to an al-anon meeting tonight, the closest I found is like 30 mins away, which is fine. but it says it's a closed meeting, with beginers welcome a 1/2 hr earlier... is it ok for me to go to this or do I need to wait for an open meeting? |

Glad to hear you got out. That's a gut wrenching decision to make. All the best, Ron |
Nope--the only requirement for a "closed" meeting is that you are affected by someone else's drinking. IOW, you wouldn't bring your best friend who has no alcoholism in his/her life just for company, and you couldn't just go "observe" because you are a social worker in training, for example. Glad you are getting to a meeting! Let us know how it goes! |
great, thanks for the help!!!!!!! *hugs* |
