Just wanted to say "hi"! I'm new to this site and look forward to chatting with others who have gone through or will go through winning the battle of the bottle! I'm doing well so far (no alcohol since Aug 2009), but find I don't have anyone in my hometown to talk to about the hold alcohol had on me for so many years. I have not attended any AA meetings since returning home from rehab.

Anyway, I found this site and thought I'd give it a try!

What I love about this site is that these folks get it and while I no longer come here to stay focused on sobriety.....it has become part of my recovery and is just a great positive place to share and I have made quite a few online pals here too!
