What_are_you_doing_today_for_your_recovery
welcome ring and congrats on 29 days sober, that's awesome!
l woke today counted my blessings and gave my heart felt thanks for the wonderful life l'm living today.
lt's school break here so later today l've got to run my 2 daughters around to friends, part time work, etc.. something l never would have been able to do while drinking!!
Spending time here reading posts and later today meeting for coffee with a longtime friend who is having a bit of a rough time at the moment.
Being available for her is one of the many positives sobriety has given me.
The first step towards change is acceptance.
Once you accept yourself you open the door to change.
Change is not something you do, it's something you allow.

I'm turning in early tonight as a concerted effort to start getting eight hours of sleep a night, instead of the six or so I've averaged since I don't know when.
I don't know if that counts though. I'm not doing it to ensure my recovery... more like to extend the benefits of recovery to my overall well-being.
