What the hell gave you the idea I am beautifying my alcoholism???? I am doing the absolute opposite. And I do not try to be anyone but myself. I have enough trouble managing that without attempting an alter ego. Please excuse my writing if it doesn't align with your idea to how one should compose their thoughts. Leave your petty observations of me out of the subject of my discourse. I'm deadly serious when I share my insights on my methomania.

You know I am always here for you, good or bad times, I am here. I wish I could take that awful craving away from you and make it vanish forever. Just know that there are so many people here who know what you are going through and that truly care about what happens to you, stay strong my friend..one day, one hour, one minute or one second at a time, what ever it takes....

Thx, Cathy, rest assured I am working on it. It is far worse than a year ago, but I am trying to mount as much defense as possible. Reading and writing seems to be my best deterrent right now.

I think your best deterrent is action, P.
Don't do what I did and confuse reading and writing with action.
I read and I wrote a lot. I convinced myself that was action, but it really wasn't.
None of that ever stopped me from going and getting more.
If you want to lock that door? The best way to do it is to get real, tangible, face to face help...now.
If you want to fight your Hyde, get some support, gather some reinforcements, and fight him....with both hands
