Count me in on Day 3!

Seems to be going pretty well. I had situation today (performance anxiety) that I was worried about but I made it through fine. Well maybe a little anxious...

Fortunately/unfortunately I have many more of these situations coming in the next few weeks so I am going to try to look at it as a way of just building new habits. The more I do it - the better I will be. This is also a competitive activity so imagine how much better I will do with a clear head.

This board has been a great tool for me. Also ordered a couple of books today. One was "Drinking: A Love Story." I think that was title. Looks good.

Everyone have a good day - I am off to keep busy.

If you like recovery books "Language of Letting Go" is a great daily meditation book.

Welcome & Congrats!

3 days is Great! Keep it up!!

Im only in my second week, but personally found the first 3 days without a doubt the most difficult. (But maybe you already know this?)
I know we are all different but IMO, if you were 'on it' every day/night like me and U can go 3 days, you can keep going as long as you desire.

If you get a bit rocky, sign in and read SR for inspiration, its working for me

Stay Strong

Day 17 for me...I wish the cravings would diminish, though.

Congrats on Day 3.

Thanks so much for the response everyone . Sorry you've still got cravings Kellysad. I think I'm still not feeling well enough to crave anything at the moment, though I'm feeling much better again today so the cravings could come back at anytime.
Had a great day though - it was a bit cold but the sun shone all day and I was sober for another day too.
