New to Forum
Good morning Morning Glory!
Thank you for the welcome. I am a baby to sobriety, 3 days, and I am a sponge. I want to learn everything, but I understand it's one day at time. I'm also an over-achiever. LOL!
I am a 22 year member of CoDa and ACOA. I have realized my impulsive behaviors stem from my drinking and it helped to stuff the pain from the CoDa and ACOA characteristics.
I feel light and free this morning because I don't have to hide from the real me and be remorseful about the ****-storms I caused and hurt people. I am grateful for this new day.

Welcome to the forum, map! It's great that you have a positive attitude and are ready to take on sobriety. I was having a really hard time trying to quit until I found this place. Now I get my daily "fix" here!

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and share.
It's funny but I am now a triple threat...CoDa, ACOA and now AA.
I know this is going to be the most important journey I am starting now and I'm looking forward to becoming happy, joyous and free! I can't believe all the wonderful help and support I have received in the past 5 days. I feel so blessed.

It's a great weight to take off your back. Moving forward into your life without dependency/ball and chain is more rewarding, each and every day.
I understand people going back. I understand they didn't really make up their mind that they were letting go of the past completely. When they do, life is new, forever!
