Anger
Went to a meeting tonite, it was very constructive..and unexpectedly so. It is amazing how feelings can brew and emerge. I shared about people not respecting my decision to quit. I thought I was going to be short and sweet, which I was, but my chest tightened and my voice went dry and cracked with emotion. It was so worth going to the meeting as it was a warning sign to me that I have baggage.
Starting the steps tomorrow. I am going to do them all.

Anger is such a misunderstood emotion. In recovery, I've actually grown to like it and embrace it (I know that many people disagree with this).
If all that seething energy is directed properly (ie by avoiding beating yourself/others etc lol ), it can be a huge motivator for change.
