So glad to have seen this J!!! You didn't mention it in your email and that's just like you. You are a person I aspire to be. You are kind, giving, compassionate and the best friend a person could dream of having. I feel blessed to have become friends with you.

Thank you, Least!! This was so sweet of you - sort of like a surprise birthday party.
SO, here I sit crying - overwhelmed that I actually did this after a lifetime of abusing myself - but also touched by your kindness and interest in my accomplishment. It was always my goal to welcome every new person, and comment on their achievements - but I've fallen short of that. I will keep trying, though, because EVERY single one of you have played a part in my journey.
My heart breaks for the newbies when they come here - tired, broken, and reaching out for the first time. I want to comfort them and say it's going to be ok, that they can do this - if I could do it, absolutely anyone can. That's partly what these birthday parties are for - to let everyone know they can make it out of hell and live the life they were meant to live. I could not have taken those first few steps without my friends here, and I sure don't want to see what would happen if I tried to make it on my own now.

Hevyn....you really are a queen to many of us. Like Horselover said....I aspire to be just like you.
