And 19 days sober. Yesterday was hard for me, I let my addictive voice come into my head and mess with me. I was actually reasoning against the cravings, and I finally snapped out of it and thought to my self "this is ridiculous, you can't let your guard down, not even once!"

So I screamed and I yelled, in my head of course, and the whiny little voice that was trying to convince me to drink just disappeared, like a ghost.

How's everyone's first week of the new year going? So far, mine has been utterly boring, but today I am going to go snowshoeing with my brother. I will take lots of pictures and maybe post some later!!

Congrats on 19 days! I'm on day 8 and have had a nagging headache all day. Feeling kind of spacey too. Hopefully it'll be gone later. I have big plans to clean my carpet this weekend so hopefully that'll keep me busy. I haven't had any cravings or urges to drink and I pray that continues.

The only thing better than 19 is 20. Congrats. I think you've got it! Just let the memories, cravings, urges be. Pay them no attention and let them disolve into the nothing they are. They can never manifest into a physical form and make you do anything. With that knowledge, you own your sobriety.

Just got back from snowshoeing. I took 3 pictures then my camera died haha. Once again, I did something that I would never do if I was drinking. Go me lol

The new year is going well for me also. Not boring tho, but comfortably predictable. If I had my 'druthers between 'boring' and 'drama' I'll take boring any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
