im so glad you all had a great new year. i TOO have had my first sober new years in about ten years! i feel all excited because of it lol i feel great! just sitting here drinking my coffee and not feeling sick!

Welcome KeithUrbanFan you have come to the right place! I cant remember the last time I had a Sober xmas/ new year but it was quite a few years ago, this Christmas has been the best ever because Ive remembered it!

Happy New Year 24hrsaday! Woke up with a clear head grateful to be alive and sober on New Year's day -- the first without a hangover for as long as I can remember. Then went down to the beach and cleared it of empty bottles of champagnes, vodka, and beer. Thought of myself last year this time, still in bed with a pounding head, wondering when to crack the first beer for the day. Thankyou SR for helping on this long walk to freedom, and have a great year!

Well, I woke up and was still on the top side of the dirt....
Yeah, that's reason enough to feel great. Waking up sober and happy is such a blessing and really starts the day off right.
