I am so grateful that I am celebrating my first sober new year's eve in at least 10 years...

I pray that everyone has a sober evening..

Me too! I'm staying home with the tube and painting my nails!

It feels like even THINKING about the amount of substances I've consumed on this day in years past should be enough to get me arrested. Phew! Thank the lord it is over. And I know I will be doubly thanking myself tomorrow morning, waking up on new years day with a clear head for the first time in maybe 12, 13 years?

Sobriety is the greatest gift. On a societal level I know 2010 hasn't been the greatest year-- but this year will always be remembered as an amazing one by me. 2010 is the year I got my Self back.

I raise my San pelligrino high to you, 2010! Bring on 2011!
