Unbelievable as it sounds... 1 year today!!
 

Hey everyone!!

I have a gazilllllion things to say about this last year... everything I have felt, everything I have observed, all of the frustrating times and all of the hard won victories. Christmas, finals at university, end-of-year reports at work... all have blocked me from being able to finish up these little 'cables' (wink!) and report them back to the group... but I shall - very, very soon!

For today, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone here at SR. You have all been here for me each step of the way and for that, my eternal gratitude! There just aren't words in any language I know of that accurately describe the level of awesomeness that is personified here on SR, post after post, pound for pound, kilobyte for kilobyte.

To those thinking about coming over to the other side, to those just starting out: I am no professional and I am still on the learning curve 365 (glorious!!) hangover-free mornings in, but one riff I heard when I started out that has stayed with me every day and helped me stay the course immensely:

It may not always be easy, but it is _always_ worth it.

That is wonderful. Please come back often and let people know how wonderful it is to be sober. I am quietly working up to 90 days and then straight through to a year, one day at a time, and loving it!
I have found SR to be a huge part of it for me. I hope all those struggling and hoping see your post and get motivated to embrace a sober happy and free life!:day6
