Well, I'm back. On Day 6.

I first found SR in mid November after an especially horrible binge. I had damn near 30 days sober, 28 I think it was.

Well, as I just read in another post this morning, a couple weeks ago the Phuckett family called and I answered the phone, unfortunately.

So I got drunk every day for about 7 or 8 days in a row.

Now I'm 6 days sober again.

I hope I can stay sober.

I hope I can re-connect with this community and especially with my awesome classmates from November 2010 even though Dec. 22, 2010 is my new sobriety date.

That's all for now,

-SD

Congrats on 6 days Sdsurfin (and those 28 days too!) I remember having a hard time right before my 30 day milestone. Sobriety has been a process for me (rather than an "event") and I think if we can learn from relapses/slips we can make our recovery stronger.

Take it slow (and one day at a time) and keep posting!:ghug3

Welcome back Sd.

Make sure you drop in on the "under 90" club as well. 6 days is under 90 so you know that you will be more than welcome amongst the regular buddies, you hear?

Best wishes
NAT

I'm glad you're back Sd

Now the tough question...

from a standing start, 28 days is great - but obviously you need to look at what else you need - any plans yet on what you might add, or do different this time?

Welcome back. If they kicked all of the people out who tried drinking again after quitting I'd be gone for sure. I'm still chugging along. Stay with it. We can all get better!
